Create a Static Residential Proxy Zone in Bright Data
If you don’t have a Bright data account, get one today!
Once you’ve an account, Go to “Proxies & Scraping Infra”. Now, click on the “Residential Proxies” from the add dropdown.
When you buy proxies, the cost very much depends on the exclusivity of the IP. If you’re comfortable with a shared IP, it will be a much more cost-effective solution.
However, Premium IPs or Dedicated IPs will cost you some extra money. But that will be worth it because you get IP addresses from a pool of unused proxies only. And these IPs won’t be used for any other project or allotted to any other user.
You can now choose the location for Geolocation targeting. In residential proxies, you can choose how narrow geotargeting you need.
When you are done with the basic configuration of the proxy, make sure to check the Estimated cost on the right sidebar on your screen.
Monthly cost is a fixed cost and that is based on the number of IPs you buy.
Traffic cost is the cost per GB consumed and is based on the usage.
When ready, click on “Add”.
Click on “Yes” to confirm and create the Proxy Zone.
Proxy zone is now active and I am directly taken to the Access parameters tab. This is sensitive data and you need to keep this secure.
Using these credentials, you can use the proxy with any browser, browser extension, or scraping bot.
If you add a whitelist IP, your proxy becomes more secure. This is an optional step. Proxy credentials must work without the whitelist also. To use whitelist feature, you can copy your actual IP address and “Add allowed IPs”.
Add to Allowed IP list.
Undetectable Anti-Detect Browser
There are lot many anti-detect browsers in the market. You can start with any of them.
I have already purchased the Undetectable.io browser. So, I am going to use that for this tutorial.
Download and install the browser application for your machine (Win or Mac).
Add the proxy in the proxy manager
The credentials are mapped in the following manner.
- Host:port
- Username
- Password
Copy these from “Access parameters” tab in your Bright Data dashboard.
Paste in the “New Proxy” dialog box in the following manner.
Before you hit “Save Proxy”, you can check if the proxy credentials are configured in a proper manner.
When you click “Check” button, it appends the proxy details such as IP address, geolocation where it came from and the proxy timezone.
If you do see a similar window, click on “Save Proxy”.
At this stage, you’ve saved the proxy in the “proxy manager” of our anti-detect browser. All you need to do now is to create a new browser profile to start using this proxy.
Click on “+ New Profile” and customize the configuration of the browser and hardware fingerprints.
Next, go to the second tab called “Main” and choose the proxy we just saved in “proxy manager”. Click “Create” when done.
You’re now all set to start using this Static Residential Proxy by Bright Data in your Anti-detect browser with custom configurations.
Click on the “play” icon in the corresponding browser profile, and a new Chromium browser window will open.
In this browser window, you can now browse the internet with the custom proxy configuration.

As you can see, this Chromium browser window is using the User-Agent that I used during the configuration.
This way, you can use a static residential proxy in any anti-detect browser.
It can now be used to handle an advertising account, unlock geo-restricted content, or traffic arbitrage. Create several browser profiles and set up a new proxy for each browser profile to scale your project. Make sure to randomize the configuration to always be on the safe side.
Bonus: Another Anti-Detect Browser – Gologin
Since you may want to use an alternate anti-detect browser, you’ve Gologin where you can configure the same static residential proxy in the following manner.
Sign up and login to your Gologin account. Create a profile or click on this “+” icon in “proxy” column.
Paste the same proxy access credentials and click on “< done”.
Now you can choose this proxy for this profile or any new profile you create. Simply click on the “Run” button to emulate the browser in a new tab.
