I firmly believe that many installed point WordPress theme on their wordpress blog. When they were unable to configure it correctly, they switched to another one. But telling you the truth, Point is a very nice wordpress theme for a professional looking boxed blog.
In this post, I would be introducing you guys with amazing and unique features of POINT wordpress theme and also will tell you the secrets of its customization which I have made to make it look a bit more elegant and nice.
So, first let me know. How does my blog look now. (A New Year, new theme, new logo, new caricature and new colors). Looks pretty cool hmmmm. Yeah I too do think so. 😛
Features that would dazzle ( Atleast after reading my customizations)
Unless you use all the features of the theme, you won’t get satisfied with the appearance of your own blog. I used POINT theme a few months before but at that time, my blog did not look that good as I lack some features which are there in the theme but I was unaware about How to use them efficiently.
Talking about the appearance, the theme comes only in a stylish boxed layout which is quite different from other boxed wordpress themes and I love it. Don’t you? (If you don’t like it yet on your own blog, check the demo)

** SEO READY ( TOTALLY SEO OPTIMIZED ) **
For bloggers, it is very necessary to be on a good seo friendly wordpress theme so that they get ranked and drive some FREE traffic to their blog. POINT theme has passed all the ranking algorithms to rank your blog on the first page of google.
I Guess the coder of this theme would have been a SEO executive before because the theme is well decorated with headings and SEO optimized HTML tags.

** MOBILE FRIENDLY ( CLEAN RESPONSIVE CODE ) **
Theme is mobile optimized and loads flawlessly on mobile devices. Mobile menu, widgets, post content and images everything loads without any break frame and automatically adjusts its size with the device width and height.
Code is also very easy to understand for a newbie wordpress developer.
Mobile responsiveness gives new heights to a blog because 60% of the searches are executed on a mobile devices and bloggers do not lose that FREE traffic source. At-least not me.
** ADS READY ( MONETIZATION GURU ) **
Yeah, let me say so because a separate option in options panel of ad management where you can place ads of your choice. Either put affiliate banners or any other CPM or CPC display advertising like Google Adsense or BuysellAds.
Advertising is the second biggest source of income for bloggers and the FREE version of the theme, I would say, i made only for bloggers. Its monetization settings are wonderful. There is a Call to action button on the right side of header banner. Along with the header banner, there is ad space after the post title and after the post content which can be filled from the theme option panel >> ad management.

** MY CUSTOMIZATIONS ( MY RECIPE ) **
I am sharing my secrets of using free POINT theme in a way which looks premium and loyal. Just to enable my blogger friends make their blog look like mine without paying for a wordpress theme.
Navigate to screen options in the top right corner.
Check the Description box there.
And now, Toogle the menu editor. You will find one more field to give description to the menu item. That’s perfect. Now put value in the description field and enjoy after saving. 😛
